Anniversary Honeymooning in Dubai! Day 2!

Hi my lovely readers! Welcome back to my blog!

Today’s post is a part two of my previous blogpost on my husband and my trip to Dubai last week. If you missed that post, do check it out! I gave a room and hotel tour of the gorgeous, newly opened Nikki Beach hotel at Jumeirah and what we ate for dinner the first night. And yes, there are A LOT of pictures, must I warn you!

So let’s move on to our second day. We started the day by having a lovely breakfast near the pool. It was such a beautiful, windy morning.

After breakfast, we took a stroll on the beach. The wind was strong and the tides high. My scarf was literally flying away!

Later that evening, we went to Dubai Mall. Sadly, the Dubai fountain was closed that day.

We roamed around the mall, did some shopping (isn’t it a given?), then had an amazing dinner at the Zahr El-Laymoun in Souk al Bahar, opposite Dubai Mall.

Yes, we ate Arabian food again.

We had Hummus and Tabouleh with Arabic bread for starters and peach iced tea to drink, which was AH-MAZING!

(I completely forgot to take pictures of the main course; we ordered a mixed meat platter)

As the weather was so pleasant and windy, we sat outdoors.

After dinner, we went right back to the mall in search of chocolate. We went into this store/cafe called Divan. Apparently, they are a Turkish brand and have been making chocolate since 1956.

The lovely salesman made us try every flavour and trust me when I say this, they were all beyond tasty. So creamy, so delicious, I didn’t want to leave the place!

They also gave pretty little gift boxes made as per our liking, so we definitely bought some for home!
